  • Certified Performance Technologist (CPT) awarded in 2006 by the International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI); re-certified twice; human performance technology (HPT) used to help line managers to identify needed and sustain changes in human performance in their organizations
  • Qualified as a senior reactor operator (SRO) as a control room simulator instructor at Farley Nuclear Plant, while employed by Westinghouse Electric Corporation
  • Received a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy, served in the U.S. Submarine Service 25 years (7 active and 18 reserve), Qualified in Submarines, and qualified as Engineer of Naval Nuclear Propulsion Systems; retired Captain, USN-Retired. Earned a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from Kennesaw State University near Atlanta, Georgia
  • Married to his best friend, Pam, for more than 40 years with three adult children and six grandchildren; lives near Atlanta, GA; enjoys hiking alpine trails in the U.S. Rocky Mountains
