Michel Paquette has been in the paper industry for 23 years, starting with E.B.Eddy in Ottawa (Ontario, Canada) as a coop student. He graduated in Chemical engineering in 1995 and in 2013 with an MBA from Sherbrooke University (Quebec, Canada).

After spending 3 years as environmental specialist, he was introduced to papermaking first as a process specialist then shift supervisor on specialty paper machines. In 2004 he was hired by Domtar in the Windsor (Quebec, Canada) mill, in the papermaking department in different capacities with 5 years as Operation Superintendent for both paper machines .

Since October 2015 he has been supporting the Domtar Corporation in the design and introduction of corrective action tracking tools and Human Performance Improvement (HPI) concepts integration in event investigations.
